How AROS protects your team, your candidates, and your hiring.

AROS is a cloud-based hiring platform. Your team, your candidates, your hires, and your outcomes stay yours. AROS uses AI to help you make better hiring decisions — but the decisions are always yours to make. This page explains, in plain English, how we protect your data, how we use AI, and what to expect from us.

Effective date: February 1, 2026 · Last updated: February 20, 2026

1. The short version

AROS is delivered over the web. You sign in from a browser — no software to install. Every job, candidate, note, and hiring outcome is scoped to your organization's private workspace. AI helps; humans decide.

2. Secure cloud-based platform

AROS runs on modern cloud infrastructure with production-grade encryption in transit (HTTPS everywhere) and at rest (managed database encryption). We follow the same architectural patterns as other trusted business software you already use.

You don't need to think about servers, backups, or updates. That's our job.

3. Your organization's data is yours

When you sign up, AROS creates a private workspace for your organization. Every job, every candidate, every note, every hiring outcome is scoped to that workspace.

No other company using AROS can see any of your data. Ever. Not their team, not their admins, not their AI. We enforce that boundary in code at every screen and every API call — not as a policy that could be forgotten, but as a technical rule the system checks on every request.

4. Role-based permissions

Inside your organization, AROS supports three roles:

  • Employer — the person running hiring for the company. Full access to jobs, candidates, and outcomes.
  • Recruiter — day-to-day recruiter. Same working access as Employer.
  • Admin — the AROS founder-level role. Only used for platform administration; never for accessing your business data unless you specifically ask for support.

Only the account owner can invite additional members, change roles, or remove members.

5. AI transparency

AROS uses AI to help you screen candidates, refine job descriptions, prepare interview questions, and learn from your hiring outcomes. Three rules we hold ourselves to:

  1. Every AI-generated insight is labeled “Draft — please review.” You are always the reviewer. The AI is always the assistant.
  2. We never show a numeric score for a candidate. AROS uses qualitative language — “Strong fit,” “Worth a second look,” “Worth a closer look.” No 87%, no 4-out-of-5, no ranking.
  3. The AI cites its evidence. When AROS says a candidate is a strong match, it tells you why — pulling directly from the résumé and the job description. When information is missing, AROS says so instead of guessing.

If our AI is ever unavailable, AROS falls back to deterministic logic — you can still work.

6. Human-controlled hiring decisions

AROS never makes a hiring decision for you. It doesn't rank candidates against each other publicly. It doesn't send anyone a rejection without you clicking send. It doesn't auto-hire.

Every consequential action — invite, interview, extend, hire, decline — is a human click. AROS is a decision-support surface, not a decision-maker.

We won't build “AI recruiter agents” that message candidates on your behalf without your review. That's a line we've drawn intentionally.

7. Résumé and candidate data privacy

When a candidate applies, their résumé is uploaded to your workspace. AROS extracts structured information from it (skills, work history, education) so the platform can help you review it. That data:

  • Stays in your workspace.
  • Is never sold, licensed, or shared with any other AROS customer.
  • Is never used to train AROS's general AI models.
  • Can be deleted at your request — email us and we'll process it promptly.

Candidates who apply through AROS see a clear application-transparency timeline — they know where their application stands and what to expect next. We designed that on purpose.

8. Outcome learning — how AROS gets smarter

Every time you hire someone through AROS, we invite you to log 30-, 60-, and 90-day reviews. Those reviews stay in your workspace. Over time, AROS learns which traits, experiences, and interview signals actually led to successful hires for your team — not for a generic industry.

Hiring platforms that don't learn from outcomes are just glorified spreadsheets. AROS closes the loop between “who did we pick?” and “did that work?”

Everything you feed the outcome loop stays private to your organization. When we one day publish aggregate industry insights, they'll be built from anonymized, opt-in data — and you'll always be able to opt out.

9. Reliability and backups

  • AROS runs on production cloud infrastructure with managed database backups.
  • Our platform provider handles daily backups and point-in-time recovery.
  • If we ever have a service disruption, we'll tell you honestly — no jargon, no spin.
  • We monitor the platform continuously and respond within business hours; critical incidents get faster attention.

We're a small team building AROS in the open. When something breaks, you'll hear from a human quickly.

10. What we're building toward

We are working toward SOC 2 readiness as AROS scales. Today we operate at a pre-certification stage — we follow the same practices, but we haven't yet undergone a formal audit. When we do, we'll say so clearly on this page. We won't claim certifications we don't have.

If your organization needs a formal security review before adopting AROS, contact the founder directly and we'll walk through our practices with you.

Have a security question?
A human on the AROS team reads every message.

This page will be updated as AROS grows. We don't claim SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or GDPR compliance today. We'll add those only after formal audits are complete.
